Mexico
Ahhh, Mexico. It's truly one of my favorite places to travel to. Partly because of the ease of getting there (most destinations are a 2-5 hour flight away from where I live in Southern California), but mostly because of the warm weather, beautiful beaches, welcoming hospitality and incredible food. I've been traveling to Mexico since I was a kid. My family had a timeshare (don't judge--it was the 80s and 90s) in Manzanillo and my earliest memories are of warm sunny days, iguanas roaming the property, snakeskin boots (LOL) and wonderful food. Because Cabo San Lucas is just a three hour flight away from LA, I often travel there fairly regularly, since it's such an easy trip to make. I've also spent considerable time in the Mayan Riviera: Playa del Carmen and Tulum.
Below you'll find links to destination guides for Cabo San Lucas, Playa del Carmen and Tulum, with a general page highlighting the Mayan Riviera area and a blog post dedicated to one of my favorite resorts in Mexico: the Rosewood Mayakoba.
